ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Iowa State women's golf team is in third place after two rounds at the Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M. The Cyclones fired rounds of 295 and 296 for a 591 tally. Iowa State is three strokes behind second-round leader UNLV (588).
True freshman Cajsa Persson and junior Prima Thammaraks pace the Cyclones at 146, which currently puts the pair in a tie for eighth in the medalist race.
The tournament will conclude tomorrow with 18 holes.
