Iowa State Headed for New Balance Invitational

AMES, Iowa- The Iowa State track and field team will travel to, New York, N.Y. this weekend to compete in the New Balance Invitational in the Fort Washington Armory in Manhattan. The meet kicks off Friday, with the women's 3,000-meter run at 8:30 CST. Events will resume on Saturday with the women's 5,000-meter run starting at 7:30 a.m. CST.
The meet will consist of about 100 teams, including some of the best track and field squads in the nation. Joining Iowa State from the Big 12 at the meet will be Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Texas Tech.
A webcast will be available through flotrack.com throughout the meet. Results will be posted at the conclusion of each day's events on Cyclones.com
