WILMINGTON, N.C.— The No. 15 Iowa State women's golf team sits in 14th place after two rounds at the Landfall Tradition. The Cyclones recorded a team score of 306 this afternoon for a two-round 627 total (321-306). Alabama leads the tournament at 575 (285-290).
Freshman Carmen Vidau continued her solid play by posting a 76 in the second round. Vidau is in 16th place at 150 (74-76). Alabama's Stephanie Meadow is the leader in the medalist race with rounds of 70 and 71 (141).
Chonlada Chayanun and Senior Sasikarn On-iam each fired rounds of 76 today to aid the Cyclones. Chayanun is currently in a tie for 58th at 158 (82-76). On-iam's second round tally of 76 brought her two-round total to 159 (83-77). She is currently tied for 63rd.
The tournament will conclude tomorrow with a final round of 18-holes.
