STANFORD, Calif. – After two rounds of play at the Stanford Intercollegiate, the Iowa State women's golf team is in eighth place with a two-round 578 total (286-292). UCLA in in first place at 560.
The Cyclones are led by junior Cajsa Persson, who followed up her 68 yesterday with a 73 this afternoon. Persson's 141 tally places her in a tie for 12th. Freshman Celia Barquin is at 143 after 36 holes (T27) and senior Chonlada Chayanun fired an even-par 71 in the second round for a two-round total of 144 (T32nd).
Freshman Nattapan Siritrai is tied for 57th at 150.
The Stanford Intercollegiate concludes with the final 18-hole round tomorrow morning.
