ISU Tied For Fifth At Lady Puerto Rico Classic

RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico - The No. 22 Iowa State women's golf team is tied for fifth through two rounds at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic. The Cyclones fired a 298 this afternoon for a 36-hole 594 tally.
Arkansas holds the two-round lead at 571, 13 shots better than second-place GRU Augusta (584).
The field features seven teams ranked in Golfstat's top-30.
Senior Prima Thammaraks, who tied for fourth at last week's UCF Challenge, leads the Cyclones at 143. Thammaraks shot rounds of 71 and 72 to sit in a tie for fifth in the medalist race with one round to go.
Senior Sasikarn On-iam is tied for 23rd (74-74=148) and junior Chonlada Chayanun is tied for 27th (74-75=149).
The third and final round will conclude tomorrow.
