On-iam Named Big 12 Golfer of the Month

IRVING, Texas – Iowa State senior golfer Sasikarn On-iam was named Big 12 Women's Golfer of the Month for March, announced today by the Big 12 office.
On-iam is the first Cyclone linkster to win the award since Chonlada Chayanun was named Golfer of the Month last March.
A native of Bangkok, Thailand, On-iam has been instrumental in helping Iowa State achieve a No. 19 national ranking in the latest Golfweek rankings.
In ISU's last tournament, On-iam became the first Cyclone to earn medalist honors by tying for first at the Hurricane Invitational (March 3-5). On-iam carded rounds of 69-69-73 (211) to become the third Cyclone golfer this season to post back-to-back sub-70 rounds.
On-iam leads the team in stroke average (73.14) and her career 75.03 scoring average is No. 1 all-time in school history. She currently ranks 77th nationally in the Golfweek individual rankings.
