ATHENS, Ga. – The No. 19 Iowa State women's golf team, the No. 4 seed in the Black Bracket of the Liz Murphey Invitational, split its two matches this afternoon.
Iowa State started the day with a 4.5-0.5 victory over Indiana. The Cyclones ended today's match play action falling to Michigan State, 3-1.
Senior Prima Thammaraks scored the most points for the Cyclones today at 1.5. She halved her first match vs. Indiana, and then trounced Michigan State's Trisha Witherby in the last match, 7 up.
The Cyclones finish up the tournament tomorrow morning with a match against Troy.
