IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa State divers wrapped up day one of competition at the Hawkeye Invitational with one diver qualifying to finals and finishing fourth overall.
The Cyclones were led by Elyse Brouillette, who finished in fourth place with a score of 269.65 in the finals round. Brouillette qualified for finals with a mark of 255.75 in the afternoon's prelim round.
Julie Dickinson missed out on the finals by two spots with 240.30 as her prelim score.
Freshman Maggie James tallied a score of 227.75 in the prelim round.
The Cyclones are back in action Dec. 5 for the three-meter board portion of competition. As with the first day, Saturday's events will begin at 10 a.m. at Campus Recreation and Wellness Center Natatorium and finals will start at 6 p.m.
