Chayanun Tied For Lead At UCF Challenge

ORLANDO, Fla. - The second round of the UCF Challenge is in the books and the Iowa State women's golf team is in fifth place. The Cyclones recorded a 286 this afternoon (567) for a two-round 567 total. Virginia fired a 275 today to move into the team lead at 557.
Senior Chonlada Chayanun is currently in a three-way tie for the top spot by recording a 69 this afternoon, her eighth sub-70 round of her career. Chayanun is 8-under (136) for the tournament after posting a 67 in round one. Celia Barquin shot 1-under (71) today to stand at 140 going into tomorrow's final round tied for 13th.
Junior Cajsa Persson is at 147 (72-75) (T49th) and freshman Nattapan Siritrai bounced back by firing a 71 (T58 at 149).
The UCF Challenge concludes with the final round tomorrow.
