The Cyclones plan to host the Big 12 Championships for the fifth time. Last season, Oklahoma State was crowned conference champions with a tournament score of 98.5. They were also Big 12 Champions in 2013.
This year's field features five returning Big 12 Champions in Oklahoma State's Anthony Collica (157), Alex Dieringer (165) and Austin Marsden (285), as well as Iowa State's Lelund Weatherspoon (184) and Kyven Gadson (197.)
Gadson, already a two-time conference champion, will look to become the Cardinal and Gold's 18th wrestler to earn three or more conference titles. Weatherspoon is in search of his second.
To go along with the five reigning champions, the four Big 12 squads bring in a combined 23 nationally ranked wrestlers at their respective weights, including seven unanimous top-10 grapplers.
