Golfers Earn Academic All-Big 12 Honors

IRVING, Texas – A total of six Iowa State golfers were named to 2015 Academic All-Big 12 teams, the Big 12 announced this afternoon.
On the men's side, Ruben Sondjaja, Nick Voke, Sam Daley and Collin Foster all earned a spot on the Academic All-Big 12 first team and Scott Fernandez was honored on the second team. Daley and Foster have each received Academic All-Big 12 first team honors three consecutive years.
Capturing First Team Academic All-Big 12 honors for the Cyclone women was junior Cajsa Persson. Persson was a first team honoree in 2014 as well.
The men have one final tune-up at the Hawkeye Invitational April 18-19 before going to Tulsa, Okla., for the Big 12 Championship April 27-29. The women are back in action April 24-26 in San Antonio, Texas at the Big 12 Championship.
