AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State women's golf team earned its sixth-straight NCAA Regional appearance while ending the season ranked in the nation's top-40.
Quick Hitters
• Iowa State earned its record-setting sixth-straight NCAA Regional berth (Raleigh Regional).
• Iowa State ended the season ranked No. 38 by Golfweek and No. 40 by Golfstat.
• ISU finished fourth at the Big 12 Championships, as three Cyclones earned all-tournament honors: Chonlada Chayanun, Cajsa Persson & Nattapan Siritrai.
• A pair of Cyclones were ranked in the top-100 nationally by Golfstat in Celia Barquin (No. 49) and Chonlada Chayanun (No. 55).
• Chayanun broke the school record in season stroke average of 73.1.
• Chayanun's career 74.71 scoring mark is also the best in school history.
• Chayanun had four top-10 finishes, including her first career tournament victory at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic where she broke the school's 54-hole scoring mark at 209 (66-69-74).
• Only two players in school history have shot a 67 or lower in a tournament. Chayanun did it four times this year, including a school-record 65 at the Betsy Rawls Invite.
• Celia Barquin set the rookie scoring mark at 73.3, which is also the second-best single-season scoring clip in school history.
• Barquin led the team in top-10 finishes (5), including tying for ninth at the NCAA Raleigh Regional.
• Both Chayanun and Barquin were named First-Team All-Big 12 by the league's coaches.
• Freshman Nattapan Siritrai had two top-10 finishes and a 74.6 stroke average to rank third on the team.
