AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State women's golf team earned its seventh-straight NCAA Regional appearance while ending the season ranked No. 25 by Golfweek.
Quick Hitters• Iowa State qualified for its seventh-straight NCAA Regional, earning a spot at the Shoal Creek Regional (T13th).
• Iowa State ended the year ranked No. 25 by Golfweek.
• The Cyclones once again played a very competitive schedule, finishing in the top-five in seven of 11 tournaments.
• At the Mercedes Benz Collegiate, the Cyclones tied the school record for low 54-hole score at 857.
• The Cyclones later shattered that mark by posting a school-record 849 at the Hurricane Invite.
• Five different Cyclones placed in the top-10 12 times this season.
• Two Cyclones were named All-Big 12 First Team and were ranked in the top-115 by Golfweek in
Chayanit Wangmahaporn (#99) and
Celia Barquin (#115).
• Barquin placed in the top-10 three times.
• Barquin was second on the team stroke average at 73.82 and has placed in the top-10 in eight career tournaments.
• Wangmahaporn led the team in stroke average at 73.66, the 2nd-best rookie mark in ISU history.
• Wangmahaporn, who led the team with four top-10s, posted a career-low 210 at the Mountainview, tying for the second-lowest score in school history.

Cajsa Persson earned all-tournament honors at the Big 12 Championship for the third time in her career, tying for ninth.
