CORAL GABLES, Fla.—The Iowa State women's golf team sits in a tie for 11th after round one at the Hurricane Invitational. The Cyclones fired a 301 this afternoon.
Louisville (286) is leading the competitive field that features six teams currently ranked in the GolfStat top-50.
Senior Chayanit Wangmahaporn (T12) led the Cyclones this afternoon. She carded four birdies and four bogeys on her way to an even-par 72.
Junior Celia Barquin is tied for 27th after posting a 74.
The second round of the Hurricane Invitational is tomorrow, with the third and final round on Wednesday.
