AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State tennis team (8-5, 0-0 Big 12) will return to the road, traveling to Larmaie, Wyoming to take on the University of Wyoming Cowgirls on March 11.
Iowa State vs. Wyoming
Action will begin at 11 a.m. at the UW Tennis Complex. The match will serve as the fourth game in ISU's series against Wyoming. Last year, the Cyclones hosted the Cowgirls and found a 4-3 win. The Cowgirls currently hold a record of 5-4. One of Wyoming's losses came in the beginning of the season, when they faced another Big 12 team, Oklahoma State.
The Last Serve
The Cyclones will have to be ready to bounce back after their 5-2 loss to the Iowa Hawkeyes on March 7. ISU was unable to grab the doubles point, and two of its singles matches went into three sets. Maty Cancini, who played at the No. 1 singles position, struggled against Yufei Long, and fell 3-6, 6-3, 6-2, while Annabella Bondonna was unable to secure the No. 6 singles win against Montana Crawford, losing 6-7, 6-2, 6-2.
