CARROLLTON, Texas - The Iowa State women's golf team played two rounds at the Bruzzy Challenge today and is in second place heading into the final day of competition. Iowa State is at 595 with scores of 297 and 298, while Texas A&M is currently four strokes ahead of the Cyclones in first at 591.
Every Cyclone finished in the top-25 on the leaderboard after two rounds of competition, including three in the top-10. Senior Celia Barquin Arozamena, junior Chayanit Wangmahaporn and freshman Alanna Campbell are all tied for fifth place at 148 after shooting identical first round scores of 73 and second round scores of 75. Tied in 21st place at 152 are Amelia Grohn and Nattapan Siritrai, who also shot identical first round scores of 78 and second round scores of 74.
Freshman Joy Chou is tied for 15th at 151.
The third and final round will take place tomorrow.
