AMES, Iowa – Karen Groth is one of the most decorated swimmers in Iowa State swimming and diving history. A five-time All-American, who competed for the Cyclones from 1982-85, Groth graduated holding four school records. Groth also competed in the 1984 U.S. Olympic Trials in the 100-yard butterfly.
Groth, who will be back in Ames in September for her induction into the Iowa State Athletics Hall of Fame, joined us in our latest CyCast to talk about her Hall-of-Fame career.
