Campbell Named A WGCA All-America Scholar

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State freshman golfer Alanna Campbell was named to the WGCA All-America Scholar team, announced today by the Women's Golf Coaches Association.
Participants on the prestigious team must have maintained a minimum of a 3.50 GPA during the 2017-18 season.
A native of Mt. Maunganui, New Zealand, had a fantastic rookie season in 2017-18, ranking third on the team in stroke average at 74.61, the fifth-best scoring mark in school history among freshmen.
Campbell ended the season ranked in the top-150 nationally by Golfweek, helping the Cyclones advance to their ninth-straight NCAA Regional appearance.
Campbell, who tied for 11th at the Big 12 Championship, had two top-10 finishes in her rookie campaign.
