RECORD WATCH
Iowa State senior Annabella Bonadonna is three overall wins away from breaking the career overall wins record at Iowa State. The current record is currently held by Kathy Reisinger who recorded 158 total wins from 1983-87.
Bonadonna picked up her 156th career win over Texas Tech's Olivia Peet last weekend, 7-5, 6-2.
Fellow Cyclone senior Regina Espindola has 60 career singles wins, tied for the ninth most in school history. The opportunity for Espindola to move up is there, as eighth and third on the list are only separated by six wins.
IN THE RANKINGS
Oklahoma State enters Friday's match with all three of their doubles pairs in the rankings, coming in at No. 17, 38 and 68 in the latest ITA Rankings. Individually, No. 27 Katarina Stresnakova, No. 102 Marina Guinart and No. 117 Bunyawi Thamchaiwat round out the rankings for the Cowgirls.
Iowa State junior Maty Cancini defeated then-ranked No. 73 Guinart in the round of 32 at the ITA Regionals in the fall. Cancini primarily plays in the No. 1 singles spot for the Cyclones while Guinart plays mostly in the No. 4 slot.
Oklahoma has one doubles pair in the rankings with Camila Romero and Martina Cappuro tabbed as No. 78 in the latest rankings. Oleksandra Korashvili is Oklahoma's lone ranked individual, checking in at No. 19 nationally.
