Schlossmacher-Smith Joins Cyclone Divers

AMES, Iowa – Diving coach Jeff Warrick announced on Thursday that Michelle Schlossmacher-Smith will transfer to Iowa State. The Roseville, Minn. native dove her freshman year at North Carolina State.
At NC State, Schlossmacher-Smith posted top scores of 241.25 on one-meter and 238.15 on three-meter during her first collegiate season. She won a state championship in 2015, finishing runner-up in her following two years of high school. She finished 14th in eighth grade and fifth her freshman year.
"We're excited Michelle is joining our team this fall," Warrick said. "She's already had a year diving at the college level. I know she's been trained really well and I think she's going to be a great addition to our team."
