Cyclones Earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State swimming and diving team was named a College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team for the Spring 2019 semester, while two student-athletes earned honorable mention Scholar All-America honors.
The Cyclones earned a 3.62 semester GPA, which was above the median GPA of 3.45 among women's teams. The Cyclone's GPA ranked in the top-30 among Scholar All-America women's teams.
Dana Liva and Sydney Ronald earned honorable mention honors for achieving a 3.5 GPA and competed at an NCAA Zone diving qualifier.
Teams receive Scholar All-America honors for achieving a GPA of 3.0 or higher over the semester. The CSCAA named all five Big 12 women's swimming and diving programs as Scholar All-America teams.
Iowa State swimming and diving had 18 student-athletes receive Dean's list honors.
