AMES, Iowa – Iowa State swimming and diving team has announced the program's schedule for the 2020-21 season. The schedule includes four dual meets prior to the team heading to the Big 12 Championships.
Iowa State will first travel to Omaha to meet the Mavericks at H&K Pool. This will be the first official dual meet since Feb. 8, 2020.
The Cyclones will then host West Virginia on Jan. 23 for the first home meet and conference dual of the season. Seniors will also be honored prior to facing off with the Mountaineers on this date.
The team will then travel to Cedar Falls, Iowa to challenge in-state competitor Northern Iowa on Jan. 30. The start time for the Omaha, West Virginia and Northern Iowa dual will be announced at a later date.
The last dual meet of the season features a battle with Kansas. This will be a two-day meet beginning on Feb. 5 at 6 p.m. at Lawrence, Kan.
The Big 12 Championships will take place Feb. 24-27. Texas will play host to the meet in Austin, Texas.
The Last Chance Meet, also hosted by Texas will occur Feb. 28. The NCAA Zone 5 Diving Qualifications will follow, beginning on March 8 and continuing until the 10th. The swimming and diving season will conclude with the NCAA Women's Championship from March 17-20.
