TUCSON, Ariz. – The Iowa State women's golf team finished sixth at the 11-team Arizona Wildcat Invitational with a 54-hole score of 884. The Cyclones shot rounds of 299-294-291.
No. 10 Arizona won the team title at 846.
Taglao Jeeravivitaporn led the Cyclones by tying for 15th at 220. Jeeravivitaporn, who shot a 76 in the final round, was outstanding in round two, posting a career-low 68.
Liyana Durisic rallied in the final round, firing a 2-under 70 to make a leap into a tie for 24th in the medalist race. She had four birdies in round three.
Next up for the Cyclones is the Mountain View Collegiate, March 20-22 in Tucson.
