-Iowa State ended the season ranked 50th nationally by Golfweek and No. 51 in the nation by Golfstat.Â
-Iowa State had a strong start to the 2019-20 by tying for third at the Dick McGuire Invitational and winning the East & West Match Play.Â
-The Cyclones were the champions at the East & West Match Play, defeating Wisconsin, 4-1. ISU was the No. 2 seed after stroke play and knocked off top-seeded Wisconsin in the championship match.Â
-True freshman Liyana Durisic paced ISU in the stroke play portion of the East & West Match Play (T7th, 144).Â
-Durisic was phenomenal, leading the Cyclones in scoring (72.95), rounds below par (6) and birdies (63). She ended the year ranked No. 104 nationallly by Golfweek.Â
-Durisic's stroke average is the lowest for a Cyclone rookie in school history.Â
-Taglao Jeeravivitaporn was ranked No. 143 nationally and was second on the team in stroke average at 73.00. Her three rounds in the 60s led the team. She carded a career-low 68 in the Arizona Wildcat Invitational.Â
-The Cyclones have earned berths to 10-straight NCAA Regionals (2010-19). The 2020 NCAA Championship was canceled due to the COVID-19 virus. ISU will aim to keep its streak alive next year.Â
-Iowa State was the 2019 recipient of the Kim Moore Spirit Award, given annually to a student-athlete or team that went through significant challenges in a season.Â
