Cyclones Begin Spring Season In Orlando

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State women's golf team begins its spring season at the UCF Challenge, Jan. 31-Feb. 2.

Fall Review
The Cyclones played in three tournaments in an abbreviated fall schedule. Iowa State had just five golfers available in the fall, led by Joy Chou's 73.78 scoring average.

Added Boost
The Cyclones picked up two additions this spring in Liyana Durisic and Charley Jacobs, giving the Cyclones more firepower. Durisic led the team and broke ISU's freshman scoring mark in 2019-20 at 72.95. She sat out the fall semester but will be in the Cyclone lineup at the UCF Challenge.

Jacobs, who is a true freshman from Adelaide, Australia, will make her Cyclone debut at the UCF Challenge. Jacobs, who opted to sit out the fall semester, has an outstanding prep resume as one of Australia's top junior golfers.
