Cyclones Finish Fourth At The Mountain View Collegiate

Tucson, AZ – The Iowa State women's golf team had a great weekend at the Mountain View Collegiate, placing fourth in the strong 14-team field. The Cyclones carded an 856 (278-287-291), the third-lowest 54-hole score in school history.
The Cyclones defeated four teams ranked in the top-50, including No. 9 Baylor by 18 shots.
Liyana Durisic recorded her second career top-10 finish by tying for ninth at 214 (69-71-74). She's been inside the top-20 in all four spring events and was one shot away from matching her career low 54-hole score.
Amelia Grohn finished in a tie for 13th place (215) and tied her career low 18-hole score of 68 in the first round. She was joined by Taglao Jeeravivitaporn, who had her best performance of the year by tying for 13th at 215. Jeeravivitaporn posted a 70 in the second round and followed it up with a 73 in the final round.
The Cyclones will tee it up at the Bruzzy Challenge next weekend, Mar. 28.
