Cyclones Cap Off Season By Placing 14th At NCAA Stanford Regional

STANFORD, Calif – The Iowa State women's golf team wrapped up its season by placing 14th at the NCAA Stanford Regional today.
The Cyclones carded a three-round total of 888 in their 11th-straight NCAA Regional appearance.
The top six teams advanced to the NCAA Championship, May 21-26 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Stanford was the team champion with a 54-hole tally of 824, a 30-shot cushion over second-place Wake Forest.
Liyana Durisic paced the Cyclones by finishing in a tie for 36th at 218. Durisic carded a final-round 70 (1-under) to help her move up the leaderboard.
Senior Amelia Grohn capped off her outstanding Cyclone career by tying for 45th at 221. Grohn is ISU's all-time leader in career rounds played with 141.
The Cyclones were ranked No. 35 nationally by Golfstat in the final regular season rankings.
