Cyclones Finish 9th At Schooner Fall Classic

NORMAN, Okla. – The Iowa State women's golf team finished ninth at the Schooner Fall Classic in Norman, Okla., after carding a final-round 287 this afternoon.

The Cyclones finished the tournament at 867 (292-288-287). Oklahoma State won the team title at 824.

Taglao Jeeravivitaporn led the Cyclones by tying for seventh with a career-low 211. Jeeravivitaporn got off to a fantastic start by posting a career-low 68 in the first round to help her record her third career top-10 finish.

Warda Amira Rawof fired rounds of 74-70-72 to finish in a tie for 27th at 216. Amira Rawof ended the tournament going 1-under in her last nine holes.

Liyana Durisic finished off the tournament with a final-round 71 to move into a tie for 40th in the individual standings at 219.

The Cyclones are back in action, Oct. 4-5 at the Windy City Collegiate in Evanston, Ill.
