Head coach Duane Sorenson was honored for his time with the Cyclones, a meet which also served as the Cyclones' breast cancer awareness meet.
The Cyclones won 15 out of the 16 events and solidified the top two placements on six events.
In the diving well, three Cyclones locked up their NCAA Zone Diving Championships marks for March 2023. On 3-meter, Jayna Misra got the win with a 297.90 and Joscelyn Buss took second at 285.15. On 1-meter, Misra got her second Zone mark of the day with a victorious score of 269.50.

"Corinne Guist and Fallon DeWitt both got their first collegiate win," Sorenson said. "They had great pacing and just swam ideally."
DeWitt beat the current school record holder, Lucia Rizzo, in the 400 IM with a time of 4:31.60. Sophomore Carley Caughron landed herself with two event wins in the 50 free (24.05) and 100 fly (57.42). Brinley Horras won the 200 free in 1:54.62 and treading behind was Lucia Rizzo with a time of 1:56.57.

Another notable newcomer, Gabrielle LePine, made a time of 2:24.86 to win the 200 breast. Paige Hanley took first place in the 100 breast with a time of 1:06.40 and Alaina Breitbach behind by 0.20 seconds. Winter Craig claimed the 200 fly with 2:08.21 and Ashley Bengtson had a time of 5:12.73 to win the 500 free.
"The sky is the limit if we can keep that attitude and hard work ethic that we do in practice and bring it into the meets," said Sorenson.
