Cyclonitas Are 11th After Round One At The Windy City Classic

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State women's golf team placed in a tie for 11th after the first round of the Windy City Classic. Round two was underway but was unable to finish due to darkness. The second round will conclude with the final round to follow on Tuesday, Oct. 3.
Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn and Taglao Jeeravivitaporn led the Cyclonitas through the first round. Both players carded rounds of 75 and find themselves in a tie for 26th place.
Liyana Durisic was third on the team with a 77 in round one. Durisic finished the first round in a tie for 39th place.
Pammy Chookaew was one shot behind Durisic and placed in a tie for 50th. Charley Jacobs rounded out the top-five with an 81 and finished in a tie for 71st place.
