Cyclones Tie For 10th At The MountainView Collegiate

TUCSON, Ariz. – The Iowa State women's golf team wrapped up play at the MountainView Collegiate this afternoon. The Cyclones finished the tournament in a tie for 10th at 871 with rounds of 293-294-284.

Texas Tech rallied in the final round to win the tournament title at 839.

Liyana Durisic led the Cyclones by tying for 22nd at 214, recording rounds of 69-73-72. Durisic's first-round 69 was the seventh sub-70 round of her career.

Taglao Jeeravivitaporn made a major move in the final round, posting a career-low 65 today to finish in a tie for 32nd at 216. Jeeravivitaporn had nine birdies today en route to the second-lowest 18-hole round in Cyclone history.

It was Jeeravivtaporn's seventh round in the 60s this season.

The Cyclones are back in action, April 4-6 at the Silverado Showdown in Napa, Calif.
