HOCKLEY, Texas – The Iowa State women's golf team will head into the final round in fourth place at the Big 12 Women's Championship. The Cyclones compiled a 302-team score in today's round, and the team is now 15 shots behind Texas University.
Ruby Chou continued to play well and is in nineth place. Chou posted a 77 today and will have a 147 (70-77) total going into the final round tomorrow morning.
Taglao Jeeravivitaporn and Liyana Durisic are second on the team with 149 two round totals. Jeeravivitaporn and Durisic look to record yet another Top 10 finish this season as they both head into the final round tied for 16th place.
Charley Jacobs had it going this morning with a four-under start that included an eagle in her first eight holes. Jacobs sits in a tie for 31st going into the final round.
The Cyclonitas will start their final round charge at the Big 12 Women's Championship at 8 a.m. Â tomorrow morning.
