SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Iowa State junior Taglao Jeeravivitaporn earned one of nine individual spots Sunday at the NCAA Women's Golf Championships at Grayhawk Golf Club, as she advanced to the final round on Monday. Jeeravivitaporn ranked fifth among non-qualifying team players to earn a spot on the final day of stroke play.
Jeeravivitaporn shot a 73 in the third round, as she is tied for 20th at five-over par going into the final round. Jeeravivitaporn had a birdie on the 10th hole, while having a bogey on the ninth and 15th for the one-over par score. Jeeravivitaporn climbed nine spots on the leaderboard after the third round.
Sophomore Ruby Chou shot a 77 in the third round, as she sits in a tie for 93rd place with a 231 over three rounds. In the third round, Chou had birdies on the 14th and 18th holes.
The nine individual players, including Jeeravivitaporn, will tee off starting at 2:01 p.m. (CT) on Monday on the 10th  tee. Monday is the final round of stroke play for individuals, as the top eight teams will advance to match play to determine the team national champion. The individual national champion will be determined on Monday from stroke play.
