Cyclones Named CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State swimming and diving program continues to demonstrate its outstanding work in the classroom as the Cyclones were named as Scholar All-America team for the Spring 2022 semester, the College Swimming Coaches Association (CSCAA) announced today. The Cyclone have been a staple on the bi-annual award for over 30 years.
For the semester, Duane Sorenson's Cyclones combined for a 3.60 GPA. It was an improvement from the 3.43 team GPA the Cyclones produced in the Fall 2021 semester.
The Cyclones were one of 731 programs across all divisions and genders to earn the honor. TO be eligible for the team Scholar All-America award, teams have to maintain a 3.00 GPA for the semester.
