Cyclones Set to Host West Virginia on Sunday

AMES, Iowa - After a conference-opening draw with Kansas State, Iowa State will turn its attention towards the West Virginia Mountaineers. On Sunday, the Cyclones will be playing for the program's 100th victory at home and their first ever victory over West Virginia.

Iowa State and West Virginia have faced one another ten times. WVU is a perfect 10-0 against the Cyclones.

Kickoff for Sunday's match is slated for 1 p.m. (CT) and can be streamed on ESPN+.

On Thursday, the Cyclones played to a 0-0 draw against Kansas State.

SCOUTING THE MOUNTAINEERS
West Virginia is 3-3-4 overall, and 0-0-1 in conference play so far. The Mountaineers are coming off a 1-1 draw with the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Thursday.

Offensively, ten different Mountaineers have recorded a goal this season.

Goalkeeper Kayza Massey boasts a 0.70 goals against average and a .833 save percentage.
