AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State men's golf team finished their two-round day at the Zach Johnson Invitational in second place. The team carded rounds of 282 and 289 and will head into the final round with a three-over tally.
Lukas Pany led the Cyclones with rounds of 71 and 69 for a two-under total. Pany finds himself in a tie for third place and sits five shots behind the leader in the medalist race.
Second on the team was Luke Gutschewski with scores of 66 and 75. Gutschewski finished in a tie for sixth place at one-under-par.
Paul Beauvy is one shot back of Gutschewski after posting rounds of 73 and 69. Beauvy rounds out the three Cyclones inside the top-10 at even-par.
Kyo Morishita placed in a tie for 27th and Nate Vance finished in a tie for 33rd place.
The Cyclones will look to make a push in the final round of the Zach Johnson Invitational on Tuesday, Sept. 27.
