AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State women's golf team travels to San Diego, Calif. for the San Diego State Classic. The tournament will included a 36-hole day on Monday, Feb. 13Â followed by the final round on Tuesday, Feb. 14.Â

The Notes:
- The team is coming off a three-way tie for 12th place at the UCF Challenge. The Cyclonitas posted 862 tally for the week with their best round coming on the final day where they fired a 283.Â
- Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn is now ranked No. 10 in the nation according to Golfstat. She recorded her third top-five finish of the season at the UCF Challenge where she placed in a tie for fourth. Chul-Ak-Sorn claimed the second-lowest round in school history with a 204 total that consisted of back-to-back rounds of 67 to close out the week.
- The last time Iowa State participated in the San Diego State Classic was in 2018 where the team finished in third place.Â
- The Cyclonitas are the second highest ranked team in the field this week at No. 30 according to Golfstat.Â
