Cyclones Named CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State swimming and diving program was once again awarded for its outstanding work out of the pool, as the Cyclones were named as a Scholar All-America team for the Fall 2022 semester, the College Swimming Coaches Association (CSCAA) announced. Awarded at the end of the fall and spring semesters every year, the Cyclones have earned the award every semester since Fall 1990.
For the semester, Duane Sorenson's Cyclones combined for a 3.62 Team GPA. To be eligible for the team Scholar All-America award, teams have to maintain a 3.00 GPA for the semester.
The Cyclones return to the pool next week for the 2023 Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championships in Austin, Texas. Competition will begin on Wednesday (Feb. 22) and go through Saturday (Feb. 25).
