AMES, Iowa – Iowa State women's golf head coach Christie Martens has announced the upcoming 2023-24 schedule. The Cyclones are slated to play in nine regular season tournaments, followed by the Big 12 and NCAA Championships.
The Cyclones open the season Sept. 11-12 at the Dick McGuire Invitational, hosted by New Mexico In Albuquerque. Iowa State won the event in 2012. ISU will play its second tournament of September in Norman, Okla. at the Schooner Fall Classic Sept. 23-25.
Iowa State will play in a pair of tournaments in October to close the fall portion of the schedule. The Cyclones will travel to Chicago Oct. 2-3 for the Windy City Classic and conclude the fall season at the Stanford Intercollegiate Oct. 20-22 in Palo Alto, Calif. The Cyclonitas were runner-up at the Stanford Intercollegiate last fall.
The spring season starts Feb. 4-6, as Iowa State travels to Orlando for the UCF Challenge. Iowa State will take a trip to the Bahamas Feb. 12-14 for the Nexus Collegiate Invitational before concluding February with the Houston Icon Invite in Houston Feb. 26-27.
In March, the Cyclonitas have just one tournament on the schedule in the Mountain View Intercollegiate, held March 15-17 in Tucson, Ariz. Last season, the Cyclones shattered NCAA records by winning the title. Iowa State concludes the regular season at the Silverado Showdown in Napa, Calif. April 8-10.
Iowa State will travel to Houston, Texas for the Big 12 Championship April 18-20. NCAA Regionals are scheduled for May 6-8, while the NCAA Championships are May 17-22 in Carlsbad, Calif.
