AMES, Iowa – Iowa State track and field is set to head to Fayetteville for the Razorback Invite hosted by Arkansas Friday, Jan. 26 through Saturday, Jan. 27.

Action for the Cyclones begins Friday with pentathlon events at 11:45 a.m. while Saturday events kick off at 11:25 a.m. with 60-meter hurdles prelims.
In the first USTFCCCA National Indoor Rankings of the season, the ISU men rank at No. 18. Iowa State is one of eight Top 25 teams who will compete at the Razorback Invite. Individually, Cyclone men total eight top 25 nationally ranked marks including four in the top 10; Darius Kipyego (No. 4 800m), Kole Becker (No. 5 Heptathlon) and Cam Jones (No. 7 Weight Throw, No. 10 Shot Put).
Last week at the Cyclone Invite, five put up top 10 program marks while Darius Kipyego led the way taking down the 1,000m school record. His time of 2:18.53 is the fourth-fastest all-conditions time in NCAA history. At the NB Collegiate Showdown, Cam Jones also amended the record books with his indoor shot put personal best to improve his mark at No. 5 in ISU history. His mark of 61-7 1/2 (18.78m) currently ranks 10th in the nation.
