Iowa State and West Virginia meet for the 24th time in program history Wednesday evening. The Cyclones have won 12 of the last 13, including six in-a-row, against the Mountaineers. Though ISU's only two losses in the all-time series have come in Morgantown, the Cyclones have won two-straight duals on WVU's home mat.
Last season, No. 4 Iowa State defeated No. 17 West Virginia, 29-11, in Ames. The Cyclones won seven of 10 matches, including four with bonus points.
TAKEDOWN LEADERS
Iowa State wrestlers have amassed 193 takedowns this season. On the flip side, they have only been taken down 116 times. Here's a look who's leading the team in takedowns.

NEXT MAN UP
It's no secret the Cyclones were bit by the injury bug during the first semester. In fact, through seven duals, 24 wrestlers on the 42-person roster have appeared in the Iowa State dual lineup this season. For reference, 21 Cyclones saw the dual lineup in 15 duals last season.
Despite losing starters Casey Swiderski (141) and Connor Euton (165) to season-ending knee injuries in November and December, the roster is inching its way back to health. Head coach Kevin Dresser said in his media availability on Monday that the lineup should be back to 60-70% healthy for the dual against the Mountaineers.
Cyclone 125-pounder Kysen Terukina made his way back into the lineup just before Christmas after missing the early portion of the season due to a neck injury. He is 5-0 on the season and fresh off a championship at the Soldier Salute. Evan Frost (133) wrestled in only one of three duals at the Collegiate Duals as he recovered from a flu bug but is listed back in the probable lineup for ISU's east coast trip this week. Evan Bockman (184) and MJ Gaitan (165), who were both dinged up in December, are also both back in the Cyclone probable lineup.
Anthony Echemendia (149) has missed extended time due to a high ankle sprain suffered at the CKLVÂ while Yonger Bastida (285) has wrestled only two matches this season as he heals from a lingering knee injury.
