2025-26 IOWA CORN CY-HAWK SERIES
Iowa State leads this year's Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series, 11-2. ISU has picked up wins in football, volleyball, men's and women's cross country and wrestling this year. The Cyclones could clinch the series with a win in women's basketball on Wednesday night.
JIMMY V WOMEN'S CLASSIC PRESENTED BY MODELO
The 2025 Cy-Hawk game was selected as the Jimmy V Women's Classic by ESPN Events earlier this fall. It marks the first time the Cyclones have played in the V Week contest. The V Foundation for Cancer Research was founded in 1993 by ESPN and the late Jim Valvano, legendary North Carolina State University basketball coach, ESPN commentator and member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The V Foundation has funded nearly $400 million in game-changing cancer research grants in North America through a competitive process strictly supervised by a world-class Scientific Advisory Committee. Because the V Foundation has an endowment to cover administrative expenses, 100% of direct donations is awarded to cancer research and programs.
