The nationally ranked Iowa State cross country teams return to action on Friday morning with the Gans Creek Classic in Columbia, Missouri.

Iowa State swept the team titles Cyclone Preview on August 29th. Redshirt-freshman Betty Kipkore claimed the individual title for the Cyclone women while Bella Heikes, Sydney Morrell and Riley Beach rounded out the top four. Olivia Verde and Ruby Hughes were also top 10 finishers for the women.
The ISU men placed four runners in the top seven. Allen Bonnesen finished second while Emanuel Galdino (4th), Seth Clevenger (6th) and Isaac Rivera (7th) followed to help the Cyclone effort.

The Course
Gans Creek is the home of the Mizzou cross country teams. The course opened on September 27, 2019, with the Gans Creek Classic. Gans Creek Cross Country Course is home to the MSHSAA Cross Country Championships, the 2021 SEC Championships, the 2022 NCAA Cross Country Midwest Regional Championships and the upcoming 2025 NCAA Cross Country Championship.
