Kicking Off
Iowa State will close out a three-game road trip Friday evening when it takes on Kansas in the penultimate road game of the year. ISU's last road conference win came against the Jayhawks and then-first-year head coach Nate Lie back in 2024.
Iowa State enters the contest coming off a tough 2-1 setback against Arizona in Tucson on Sunday. After going into the break down one, ISU equalized in the second stanza only to see the Wildcats score in the 75th minute to escape with the win.
Kansas has won two straight and has dropped just one contest since August 27. The Jayhawks are one of the most aggressive teams in the league, owning the most shots and corner kicks among all Big 12 schools. Last time out, KU downed No. 24 Colorado.
