2006-07 (Senior):
Competed in 800 free relay (sixth, 7:25.69), 500 free (18th, 4:52.30), 200 free (14th, 1:52.68) and 1,650 free (eighth, 16:41.16) at the Big 12 Championships ... set the school-record in the 1,650 free (16:41.16) and 500 free (4:52.30) at the Big 12 Championships ... recorded seven first-place finishes ... swam to career best in 1,000 free against Missouri (10:15.96) ... had two wins against South Dakota State (1,000 free, 500 free), Western Illinois/Illinois State (1,000 free, 500 free) and Northern Iowa (200 free, 500 free) ... voted as team captain ... member of academic all-Big 12 first team ... named team’s Most Improved Swimmer.

2005-06 (Junior):
Swam at the Big 12 Championships, competing in the 200 free (15th, 1:52.89), 500 free (19th, 4:59.43), 1,650 free (15th, 17:02.22) ... was also a member of the 800 free relay team (sixth, 7:25.96) at the Big 12 meet ... captured seven first-place finishes on the season, including a pair of wins in meets against Iowa and Nebraska-Omaha ... member of academic all-Big 12 first team.

2004-05 (Sophomore):
Competed in the 1,650 free (12th, 17:12.20), 500 free (22nd, 5:01.73) and the 800 free relay (fifth, 7:32.34) at the Big 12 Championships ... had 10 top-five finishes ... best finish was second in the 200 backstroke (2:16.38) against Northern Iowa ... earned spot on academic all-Big 12 first team.

2003-04 (Freshman):
Swam in the 500 free (14th, 5:00.67), 200 free (23rd, 1:54.75) and 1,650 free (seventh, 17:03.12) at the Big 12 Championships ... had 17 top-three finishes ... recorded the seventh best 1,650 free time in the Big 12 with her 17:03.12 at the Big 12 meet ... won her first career race, the 1,000 free, with a time of 10:23.92 against St. Olaf.

High School:
Attended Madison West High School in Wisconsin her freshman, sophomore and junior years before transferring to Woodbury High School in Minnesota for her senior campaign ... earned All-America honors her senior season in the 500 free ... named Most Dedicated Swimmer in 2000 at West High School ... placed seventh in the 200 free and second in the 500 free at the 2001 Wisconsin state championships ... captured the state title in the 500 free (5:03.10) and finished fourth in the 200 free at the 2002 Minnesota state championships ... was named all-conference all four years and earned all-state honors her junior and senior seasons in the 200 and 500 free ... coached by Chris Carbon and Ben Uphoff while attending West and Jerry Simpson her senior year at Woodbury ... swam for the Badgers Aquatics Club until 2002 before joining the South East Metro Sharks her senior season ... finished first in the 1,000 free (10:18.20) at the Speedo Championship in 2003.

Journalism and communication major with a minor in History... born July 1, 1985 ... daughter of Drew and Janice Walden ... father, Drew, swam for ISU in the late 70’s and early 80’s and coached her in club ... mother is also an ISU graduate.
