Competed at the USATF Junior National Championships, finishing fifth in the shot put (51-11 3/4, 15.84m) and sixth in the discus (166-0, 50.59m).
2017-18
Outdoor: Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminaries in the shot put (18th, personal best 52-0 (15.85m)) and discus (33rd, 161-7 (49.25m)) … finished 10th in the Big 12 Outdoor Championships in the shot put (48-8 3/4, 14.85m) and discus (159-10, 48.93m) … earned three wins on the season, taking the shot put title at the Musco Twilight (51-7 1/4, 15.73m) and Sun Angel Classic (50-8 1/4, 15.45m) and winning the discus at Tulsa Duels (162-2, 49.43m) … took third in the shot put (51-9, 15.77m) and discus (159-7, 48.65m) at the Nebraska Invitational … recorded a personal best 169-4 (51.62m) in the discus to finish third at the Michael Johnson Invitational … also competed at the Florida Relays and the Drake Relays.
Indoor: Was in eight meets for Iowa State … finished sixth in the shot put (49-8 1/2, 15.15m) at the Big 12 Indoor Championships … won shot put in collegiate debut at Cyclone Duals (47-11 1/4, 14.61m) … took second in the shot put at the Black & Gold Premier (50-3 1/2, 15.33m) and third at the Hawkeye Invitational (48-7 1/4, 14.81m) … also competed at the Nebraska Tune-Up, Iowa State Classic, Husker Invitational and Larry Wieczorek Invitational.

Two-time Indiana state champion in the discus and earned a state title in the shot put as a senior for Lafayette Jefferson … made the state finals in both events her final three years in high school… won the discus state championship her senior year by over 13 feet … personal best throw of 49-7 in the shot put ranked fifth among high school athletes in the country last season for outdoors … her indoor PR of 47-9 1/2 ranked seventh in the country for the indoor shot put in 2017.
