Dylan Long enters his fourth season as a member of the IowaState staff. Long joined the staff in June 2006 after spending two years as a conditioning coordinator for his alma mater, Northern Iowa. In 2003 Long finished as the 141-pound runner-up at the NCAA Championships. The Creston, Iowa, native continued to pursue competitive wrestling, finishing fifth at the 2006 World Team Trials at 145.5 pounds. A four-time NCAA Western Regional champion and NCAA Championships qualifier, Long’s career winning percentage of .808 ranks among the best in UNI school history.
Long graduated in 2004 from Northern Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
