The men's alumni team started off the meet strong, with a first place finish in the 100 yard medley relay. The three-man team of Peder Skoog, Aron Nakama and Billy Reece finished with a strong lead and time of 46.75. “We were very please with how the women swam,” head coach Duane Sorenson said. “We asked the women to stand up and swim two, one hundreds back to back, and they really stood up and raced.”

“The women have been swimming at a very high volume, and this is the most intense time in practice,” Sorenson said. “We are very pleased with the women.”
