AMES, Iowa - Iowa State (4-0, 0-0 Big 12) heads to Iowa City, Saturday, to take on No. 1-ranked Iowa (3-0, 0-0 Big Ten) in the annual CyHawk dual. The dual will mark the 79th meeting between the two programs.

The CyHawk dual is slated to feature five top-20 showdowns, with both wrestlers earning national rankings at the 133, 165, 174, 184 and 197-pound weight classes. At 165, 174 and 197, both wrestlers are ranked in Intermat.com's top-6.

The top-ranked Hawkeyes bring nine wrestlers ranked in the top-10, with six earning top-5 spots. Iowa is 3-0 in the young dual season, picking up three dual victories at the Iowa City Duals. The Hawkeyes defeated Baker, Iowa Central and Cornell College.

*In the tri-dual against Boise State and Utah Valley, Cyclone wrestlers won 17 of the 20 individual matchups, picking up bonus points in 9 of the 17 (5 pins, 2 tech-falls, 2 major decisions).
*This season, Iowa State wrestlers have accounted for 110 bonus-point victories behind 68 pins, 20 tech-falls and 22 major decisions.
*ISU currently has five wrestlers earning top-12 national rankings in the latest TheOpenMat.com poll in No. 3 Michael Moreno (165), No. 3 Kyven Gadson (197), No. 5 Tanner Weatherman (174), No. 10 Earl Hall (133) and No. 12 Lelund Weatherspoon (184). Gabe Moreno also received a top-20 nod at No. 19 in the latest Asics FloRankings. Five starters currently boast undefeated records in 2014-15.
*The ISU freshman class was showcased at the annual Harold Nichols Cyclone Open, with four true-freshmen earning top-3 finishes and three more Cyclones working their way to the podium.
*Seniors Kyven Gadson and Michael Moreno return for their final seasons in an Iowa State singlet coming off a fourth-place and fifth-place finish at NCAAs last season, respectively. Last year's finish marking the second time in as many seasons that the grapplers have garnered All-American honors.
*Gadson has opened the season at 8-0, winning each of his dual matches on the season. He has now won 34 consecutive dual matches dating back to the 2012-13 season and is ranked No. 3 in every major national poll. Gadson started the dual season off with a pair of pins against opponents from Boise State and Utah Valley.
*Moreno, also 8-0, was a 30-match winner last season, compiling a 31-9 season record. He is currently ranked No. 3, nationally. The Urbandale, Iowa native worked to a pin and a tech-fall in his opening matches, adding a major decision against Central Michigan.
*Moreno and Gadson are two of just nine wrestlers in the nation to win at least 30 matches and earn a spot on the NCAA All-America podium in both of the past two seasons.
*Tanner Weatherman is off to a fast start in 2014. The Huxley, Iowa, native has been an offensive machine, notching 21 takedowns in dual competition and averaging over five per match. Weatherman has picked up bonus points in each dual match this season and is ranked as high as No. 5 among major polls.
