AMES, Iowa - 22 members of the Iowa State men's and women's track and field teams earned entries to next week's NCAA West Preliminary in Austin, Texas, May 28-30. Junior
Taylor Sanderson already punched his ticket to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon, after scoring a 7,360 at the Mt. SAC Relays in the decathlon.
Events kick off Thursday, May 28 with the men's discus at 12 p.m. CT. Running events are scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. CT with the women's 400-meter hurdles. The top 12 finishers in each individual event will advance to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon, on June 10-13.
